PettusPlots provides meteorological data visualization, analysis tools, and weather-related information including but not limited to:

  • Hurricane reconnaissance data and tracking
  • Atmospheric sounding visualizations
  • Space weather monitoring
  • Weather alerts and forecasting tools

3. API Usage Policy

PettusPlots provides various APIs for internal use. Use of these APIs is strictly prohibited without explicit written permission from PettusPlots. Unauthorized use includes but is not limited to:

  • Accessing any PettusPlots API endpoints directly
  • Scraping, crawling, or automated data collection from any PettusPlots services
  • Integrating PettusPlots data into third-party applications or services
  • Redistributing or reselling data obtained from PettusPlots APIs
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to access backend services

To request API access, please contact us via the contact form or email. Unauthorized API usage may result in IP blocking and potential legal action.

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Weather data and forecasts provided through this Service are for informational and educational purposes only. PettusPlots is not responsible for any decisions made based on the data presented. Always refer to official sources such as the National Weather Service for critical weather information and safety decisions.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Misuse or abuse the Service or its data
  • Attempt to access restricted areas of the Service
  • Use automated systems to scrape or collect data without permission
  • Redistribute data or content without attribution
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

All content, design, and functionality of PettusPlots are the property of James Pettus unless otherwise noted. Data sourced from government agencies (NOAA, NWS, etc.) remains in the public domain. Custom visualizations, tools, and processed data created by PettusPlots are proprietary.

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. PettusPlots is not responsible for the content or practices of these external services.

8. Limitation of Liability

PettusPlots and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this Service.
